The day I fell in love with coding was a turning point in my life. Growing up, I never had much exposure to computers, let alone coding. It wasn't until I was in 10th class that I even touched a computer for the first time. And even then, I didn't really know what to do with it.
After completing my diploma in civil engineering, I moved to Kathmandu to attend a coaching class for engineering entrance exams. That's where I met a professor who had graduated in computer science. He gave me my first lecture on computers, and I was fascinated. I started researching about it, and that's when I discovered coding.
At first, it was overwhelming. The syntax seemed like a foreign language, and I couldn't understand how people could write entire programs using just a keyboard. But I was determined to learn, and the more I practiced, the more it started to make sense.
I began to see coding as a form of art, a way to create something from nothing. I loved the challenge of solving problems with code, and the satisfaction of seeing my programs work perfectly. It was a feeling unlike any other.
Before I knew it, I had decided to switch my major to computer engineering. It was a scary decision, but one that I'm so grateful for now. I'm still learning and growing as a programmer, but I know that the day I fell in love with coding was the day that set me on a path towards a career that I truly love.
